HARD Reveals Holy Ship’s Stacked 2016 Lineups

While dance fans are readying to party up at HARD Summer, company CEO and founder Gary Richards is thinking a couple steps ahead by dropping both lineups for Holy Ship 2016.

Both trips on the MSC Divina will depart from Miami and head to the Bahamas for some sweet island parties, with many on-deck shenanigans sure to transpire along the way. The first voyage, which takes place from January 3-6, sets sail with a bevy of festival heavyweights including Kaskade, Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus, Odesza and Steve Aoki, all of whom are set to headline. Support will come from the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Brodinski, GTA, MK, Jackmaster, Rustie, Skream, Lane 8, Wiwek and Awe.

The second trip (going from February 10-13) offers a vastly different musical agenda, with few repeat acts. HARD favorites like Chromeo, Porter Robinson, RL Grime (who’s going back-to-back with Baauer) and Boys Noize are just a few of the top-billed names, along with Justin Martin and Gaslamp Killer. Joining them are a slew of house-swaying acts like DJ Tennis, Claptone and Wolf + Lamb; plus bass heads Jauz, Marshmello, Falcons and more.

View the Holy Ship 2016 lineups below – while both editions’ pre-bookings are already sold out, there’s still a small chance to get off the waiting list and onto the boat.

JONAS RATHSMAN ANNOUNCES NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

If you don’t know the name Jonas Rathsman, you need to. The Swedish producer has been on the lips of almost everyone in the house world for the past few months, due to his mega hit “Wolfsbane.” Though the tune was the first release on Disclosure‘s imprint Method White and made him a hot commodity, Rathsman enjoyed incredible success under many aliases before that. It wasn’t until 2011 when he decided to step away from his projects and produce under his own name that he began to truly break onto the scene, having releases on French Express and major remixes for Duke Dumont, Sam Smith, and more.

This fall, Rathsman will be supporting Disclosure on their world tour, but before then, he’ll be playing a small US tour this month to get house fans warmed up for something big. If you’re curious to know more about this rising star, listen to his essential mix below:

Rapidly growing in just a couple days, a new petition is making the rounds in an effort to get all Bassheads on the same page – and perhaps create a “Bass-land.” Paul Stew from Chile recently started THIS PETITIONon Change.org that explains why Bassnectar needs his own festival with no noise restrictions. At this rate, it wouldn’t be surprising to see over 10,000 signees by the end of the day.

Stew explains in the petition, directed to Lorin (Bassnectar):

“Due to noise restrictions, sound bleed, and venue constraints, we the people kindly plead ( require, haha) a three day camping festival ran by the Bassnectar team. The Bassnectar team would choose artists that represent the values of Bassnectar and the community, and a percentage of profits would be donated to charities of the community’s choosing. No longer would Bassnectar and the community have to be on the same lineup/crowd as homophobic, immoral, racist, and/or misogynistic artists. Bassnectar would play a two and a half hour set each night, with no sound limits or restrictions, creating an experience that would be truly immersive.”There has been no response yet from Bassnectar himself. Sign the PETITION and check it out.
